Here's How It Went
A first-time Le Creuset Factory to Table salegoer, I attended the Minneapolis event. I opted for VIP tickets ($25 plus fees) because I had to know what was in the $50 mystery box.
I went to the Le Creuset Factory to Table sale with my bestie, because this is the kind of shopping you do together past the age of 35. I joined the FTT MSP Facebook group the day before the sale and learned some great know-before-you-go tips. It jazzed me to shop as I saw people posting pictures of their hauls - and what was included in their mystery boxes!
The Le Creuset Factory to Table sale was a well-organized affair, definitely not their first rodeo. Carts for everyone, wide rows for easier shopping, helpful staff, and multiple checkout lines. And a pickup point for easier loading - no need to heft your Le Creuset goods through the Skyway.
It at no point felt overcrowded, and there was plenty of inventory. Having the last VIP shopping spot of the day, I do feel like I missed out on some unique colors that earlier shoppers scored. I saw someone post a round purple Dutch Oven purchased from the first shopping session and the FOMO is real.
I'll let pictures do some of the talking.

Factory to Table Tip
Find a dedicated Facebook group or other social media group/chat for helpful tips! I joined the FTT MSP Facebook Group the day before the VIP event and got some great tips on parking. The group chat also got me jazzed about the event throughout the day as I watched people post pictures of what they received in their mystery boxes. And of course, the helpful tips and suggestions kept flowing as people shared things like how they handled getting their treasures back to their vehicles (some brought in wagons for hauling!).
It was also a great place for many to coordinate meetups to trade pieces received in mystery boxes. So maybe you didn’t score what you liked in your mystery box, but seeing what others got that they were willing to trade served as a second-chance opportunity.
What's in the box!?
Here's what my friend and I got in our mystery boxes. Each mystery box cost $50. And as the name suggests, there was no peeking allowed. We weren't allowed to open the boxes on-site.
The first box contained a 9-quart oval Dutch Oven in Flame, four coffee cups in Flame, one round Cerise baking dish, and a 6-tin muffin pan in the shape of hearts.

The second box contained three enameled Dutch ovens/pots, an enameled cast iron pan, a gravy boat, a water bottle, and a salt and pepper shaker set.

Both are pretty solid hauls, well worth the $50 price tag.
Was the Le Creuset Factory to Table sale worth it?
Was the Le Creuset Factory to Table VIP ticket worth the price of admission? Absolutely. If you went and purchased only the $50 mystery box, it would be worth it for that alone.
The First Piece of Le Creuset
They say you never forget your first. For me, that was a 5.5-quart Indigo round Dutch Oven in 2018.
